New Resident Evil: Deadly Silence Screens

DS News | Drop dead evil.
We'll soon be able to join Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield in yet another rehash of the original Resident Evil title, this time fitted to the Nintendo DS. Twenty-two new screens have become available as a release nears.

There are two modes offered: ‘Classic’ mode, in which you play through the original Resident Evil as it is, and ‘Rebirth’ mode, where the Nintendo DS’s features have been incorporated into the main game with additions such as touch screen puzzles, first person viewpoints for slashing zombies and more ammo and enemies. Not to mention multiplayer co-op (for two to four players) and Vs. modes.

No release date for Australia yet, but Nintendo of Europe lists Resident Evil: Deadly Silence for a March 31st dispatch.

It looks promising with the Nintendo DS features and multiplayer. But, another remake? Come on, as the remake on the Nintendo GameCube was enough.
