Harvest Moon DS and GCN coming to PAL in '06

DS News | The Harvest begins in spring this year.

Publisher Rising Star Games keeps adding to their 2006 portfolio, now bringing the latest efforts in the Harvest Moon series to PAL territories. What’s more, is that Rising Star Games will be distributing the titles in conjunction with Nintendo of Europe, through it’s subsidiaries and distribution partners.

In Harvest Moon games, players assume the role of a farmer who must grow crops, look after farm animals, make money, participate in town events, amongst many other farm and town related daily tasks. This game falls under Nintendo’s non-game game classification, where there is no winner or a real conclusion.

Rising Star Games have stated that Harvest Moon DS and Harvest Moon Magical Melody are slated for spring release for the PAL region.

well saying PAL regions will get it in spring is pretty vague. i assumed it was spring, australian time. oh well, even better news.

Wow, certainly wasn't expecting that. Well this is excellent news for me as I quite liked It's a Wonderful Life. Only reason why I haven't played more of it is because I would like a bigger memory card first.
Yeah, I'll be getting Magical Melody after my 360, I think.

Hi anyone know any idea on when magical melody will be released in pal as i am really looking forward to this one and i was thinking about getting a freeloader for my gamecube but if i can get it in pal soon i will wait

'TBC March' is the closest we have I'm afraid, and that's for Europe.

jenniann, it's coming out the end of this month for NTSC. I am importing it from Play-asia with a freeloader, which ships April 2. Unfortunately I haven't been able to track down any news regarding a PAL version whatsoever. Although, that does make my option easier, import to the max!

anyway, on a harvest moon note - i did indeed import HM: magical melody with a freeloader from play-asia. about 70 bucks for the game which is good. im going to try and set a world record for a speed run in it.

im doing a speed run for Animal Crossing: Wild World but it has taken me 4 months so far.
