Sounds like a good way to spend a day to me, but a 1 hour+ bus ride to Marion doesn't sound very tempting.

I'll think about this one.

It seems like Nintendo Australia really like Miranda. They have been holding events there for years. I remember when I was in year 5 they had a big pokemon event where you could upload Mew to your Red/Blue version - that was awesome icon_lol.gif

Ill probably go check it out just to have a go of the new Harry Potter game. Ive finished it on Xbox but it seems the DS version could be alot more interesting to play.

wow. wow. wow. this is so freaking cool.

but why the hell did QLD get the most annoying locations? Oh well I'll have to practice MK hardcore now (ive been slack and playing Advanced Wars and Animal Crossing heaps). is there a price for best town in AC? If so then ill quit my job and play full time.

Mitch: My first thought was - why not Chermside?

All I can think is that they know how packed it will be and Westfeild decided to house it at the less popular locations...except that Garden City is freaking massive from what I hear...so I really don't know.

i wouldve liked chermside, seeing as it is 10 minutes away. but its just got no room. the EB there (the wifi hotspot) is as big as a shoebox and they wouldnt let moochers have a competition in there while trying to sell overpriced games.

games toyworld in the city would be cool but once again there is limited space. there is a seating arrangement just outside the doors where maybe 10 ppl could congregate.

i have no idea where the other places are but count me in.

p.s. where abouts do you live?

I live near Capalaba but I used to be in walking distance of Carindale so I'm quite familiar of it.

I also used to go to Garden City a lot.

Carindale sounds like the best place for it IMO especially with where I expect them to have it which should fit more than 40 people.

I should be there, I'll also try and get mangaman to come as he is pretty skilled at the MK game I have to say.

Okay so that wasn't the real quote. Just wanted to say that it would be also nice to find a DS with Mario Kart in my stocking. icon_wink.gif

Considering I already own all the titles in bold, there's no real draw for me to attend.

Yeah, but RPGs are hardly easy to get a good play of in 10 minutes (what a terible scentence), and you can just buy the game for $60 right now anyway - it's only 'upcoming' for australia.

Eastgardens is near Maroubra, which is a heavily populated eastern suburb.

Miranda is near cronulla, too. Hopefully the riots have ended by then.

I'm going to Miranda tomorrow.

Tommorow... it ain't on for another month.
* Goes checks, yep another month.

Well I guess I might go to both Miranda and Eastgardens since it's a short drive to both for me. Would be nice meeting up with a few PALGNers.
