In all, there are 26 planned sites to be built in conjunction with retail stores. For whatever reason, Nintendo Australia have refrained from utilising McDonald's, unlike their US counterparts. It was never unreasonable to expect the locations to be centred around major cities, but given PALGN's demographic alone, a few groups are missing out. These being pretty much anyone from the outer or rural areas, anywhere from mid to northern parts of Queensland, the eastern suburbs of Sydney, the west of Melbourne as well as anyone in Tasmania and the Northern Territory.
Still, the fact that there actually will be some places to take our DS units and part take in online multiplayer is nothing to be scoffed at, especially now that Mario Kart DS is now available.
