Nintendogs cheaper RRP confirmed

DS News | You won't be paying $70 for your Labrador this year...
Nintendo has announced that their upcoming Nintendogs title will be launching at a recommended retail price of $49.95 in Australia, $30.00 cheaper than a PSP game's typical RRP.

We assume that this is a test by Nintendo to guage how much interest people take in a title which is cheaper. For the uninformed, Nintendogs is best described as a touch-based virtual pet simulator, where players must take ownership of a dog and engage it in various activities, such as playing ball with it, petting it, talking to it, etc.

There will be three versions of Nintendogs available on September 22nd: Nintendogs - Miniature Dachshund, Nintendogs - Chihuahua and Nintendogs - Labrador Retriever. September 22nd will also be the day that two new colours for the Nintendo DS will be released, a Cosmic Blue colour and a Mystic Pink.

I saw the Nintendogs boxes on the shelves at EB this morning. And they weren't in a special "Coming Soon" section, they were mixed in with the other titles...

Wow price cuts! Yet still i won't buy. icon_sad.gif too poor.

Anyway my real dog is way better, it knows how to do heaps of tricks and is very smart, so i don't have to go through the whole teaching a unreal dog new tricks. icon_biggrin.gif The only advantage would be it wouldn't leave fur every where, unlike my dog damn, why does it have to shed it's winter coat. icon_razz.gif

Now that i think of it, the game would be cheaper than a real dog, in every way. Really makes you think. It wouldn't be real but almost there, i guess you get what you pay for. icon_razz.gif
