New Nintendogs screens

DS News | Latest screens of Nintendo's puppy-me-do.

Ten new screens of Nintendogs have bounded eagerly into our view, all bushy-tailed and bright-eyed. And the signs are good for a game which has become a something of a pop-culture phenomenon in Japan. Indeed, only the hardest of gaming hearts could fail to be softened by the latest screens, which feature pups doing tricks, fetching you presents and performing other tasks that look absurdly cute.

In other Nintendogs news, Nintendo of Europe has revealed that there are no plans to follow the example set by Nintendo of America, who are giving away free copies of the game to particularly prolific members of the Nintendo.com community prior to its launch in the US on August 22nd. We're guessing the aim is to help spread the word about.

Alas, there's not even a release date for us just yet (never mind free copies), though expect it towards the end of the year in Europe and Australia.

Boo dog haters!!

I can't wait for this game, simulation, whatever it is. I've always wanted a dog, but didn't want the trouble that comes with it. This is the answer to all lazy dog loving people around the world! Besides, it's a Miyamoto creation and that guy knows how to make things work.

The US version came with exclusive breeds, any word of that for the PAL release? Kelpies, Blue Heelers, etc?

I'm pritty sure we are getting the same as the US. EB have copies of it on the pre-order shelfs and they are the same as the US ones.
