Currently scheduled for a release somewhere around Christmas, the tentatively titled Top Gun DS will feature ten singleplayer missions, a 'Competition Campaign' that will let you compare your skills with other Top Gun pilots, a wide variety of naval aircrafts and a soundtrack that's regrettably only 'reminiscent' of the music from the movie.
Realistic weather effects are assured though, as well as more weapons than you can shake an F-14 Tomcat at, including machine guns, fire-and-forget projectiles and homing missiles. Oh, and up to four players can go head-to-head for wireless multiplayer sorties.
