Lunar DS gets an official name

DS News | Finally the titles name has been revealed along with some new details.
In April, Lunar-NET got the exclusive rights from Ubisoft to run a poll asking what fans thought Lunar DS (called Lunar Genesis at the time) should be titled. And now Ubisoft has revealed the official name on their website.

Lunar DS will be titled Lunar: Dragon Song.
Ubisoft also listed some new, important info to go with the title.

Dragon Song, being a prequel that takes place 1,000 years before Lunar: The Silver Star, will feature three characters new to the Lunar universe - Jian, Lucia, and Gabriel. In their quest to conquer darkness and return light to the land, they'll have to convert "Forces of Darkness" into "Beings of Light." During their quest, you must collect Battle Cards, which you to use them to up their skills, magic, and attacks. Ubisoft also promises many new weapons and items; the items will be able to shared between players via the DS's wireless connection.

Dragon Song is listed as a July release on Ubisoft's American site. While no other release dates have been confirmed, keep checking PALGN for further updates.
