DS News | We deliver the slightly disappointing and good news of everyone’s favourite little bomberman. UPDATED: Not so disappointing afterall.
While we came off anticipating Bomberman DS after E3, Ubisoft has delivered a slightly low blow to us in announcing a delay in the game’s release. A small change on Ubisoft’s official product page reveals that the game has now been slated for an October 2005 release in the U.S, with remaining countries expected to follow, compared to it’s previous June release.
On a much more brighter note for fans, we’ve managed to get our hands on a new batch of screenshots from the electrifying title.
UPDATE: Actually it was a Ubisoft Typo - the Game is back to an expected June 21 US release!
Bomberman for June After All
Tricksy typos!
by David Adams
June 2, 2005 - Yesterday we reported that the Ubisoft product page for the DS version of Bomberman showed an October 2005 release -- a big delay from the game's expected arrival this month. However, a Ubisoft representative contacted IGN today to explain that the October date was a typo, and that the game is still expected for June 21, as ever. So Bomberfans can relax -- you're mere weeks away.
Ahhhhhhh, what a relief!
Does the game have any multi-cart features? If not, I won't be missing out on anything by importing a US copy... anyone know for sure?
no probs Mark www.nintendo.com.au is completly off the charts for typos hahahahaaha
apparently the game is based more on multiplayer than single player.
Bomberman DS is a single cartridge multiplayer game for as many as eight players. After a loading sequence to up to seven cartridge-free Nintendo DS systems, players go into dual-screen arenas and battle it out for Bomberman supremacy. The action extends both of the Nintendo DS screens, segmented with "tunnels" to connect the two screens together.
Bomberman funness!! IF (and this is a big if) the nintendo of australia website is up to date, us aussies should be getting it sometime in july aswell

i will pwn you'se all at the next Palgn get together
I'll wait for the B-man to go online. Then I'll pwn you all.
Yeah, I read on Nintendo's official US site recently that there is an online version in development apparently, so it looks like I'll be skipping this earlier version out.
My game for this month will be an import of Kirby.
