Konami has released new screens of its upcoming Castlevania DS game. Castlevania DS (geddit?) is a sequel to the GBA game Aria of Sorrow.
New characters are introduced in DoS, including Celia Fortner, Dario Bossi, and Dmitrii Blinov. Celai is the founder of the cult that wants to resurrect Dracula. Dario, who can manipulate fire, is a potential successor of Dracula. Dmitrii is the other potential successor and can duplicate magic abilities.
Dawn of Sorrow will feature "Tactical Souls." Upon defeating enemies, Soma can collect their souls in order to gain new attacks and skills. There are lots of varieties of these souls, including "Bullet Souls" and "Guardian Souls." Bullet souls are magic attacks and guardian souls create shields or form demons that Soma can control; both souls use up magic points.
Using the DS's wi-fi connection, you can trade souls you've accumulated with others DoS-owners.
