E3 2005: Mario Kart DS Online!

DS News | Insiders have seen it in the 'online' booth!
A demo kiosk in the DS section of the show floor, Nintendo has a DS Online demonstration setup. One of the games on the board is the previously announced as online Animal Crossing DS. But the other is none other then Mario Kart DS!

This is the first confirmation that the Mario racing game will be online enabled.

woah! now that's a good idea! had online RPG's, shooters, but a racing game (mario themed)?? Now that's sure to be a hit!

there have been quite a few online racing games before now...

though no mario themed ones afaik...
