Selling 2.8 million units in America and Japan, Nintendo is stating the initial shipment of the DS will outweigh any hardware launch in history in Australia.
“With the astounding US and Japanese results we are excited to confirm when this amazing interactive entertainment system will become available to Australian consumers,” says Rose Lappin, Director of Sales and Marketing at Nintendo Australia. “At the end of February the Australian public will witness a redefining moment in interactive entertainment that will cement Nintendo as the major innovative force of this industry.”
Currently, the only confirmed launch titles include Super Mario 64 DS and WarioWare: Touched, while Pokemon Dash will be arriving shortly after.
PALGN will post the full launch line-up when it becomes available.
