Since we can't plus articles anymore, here is a high five.

Hell Yes. I don't care if it's exactly the same as the last two with a new story, it will be good enough for me.

Brilliant!

Although, I can't play these games from start to finish in a couple of sittings, as the puzzles boggle my mind, I am very excited to hear of anything new and Laytony. To be honest, I still have to finish Pandora's Box, but I'm sort of glad of that ... otherwise I'd be waiting too long for the next installment.

I recall a while ago, that one of the new games actually has a "mini RPG" side game in it ... that can last up to 100 hours. I can't recall which one it was now. I just love how the next game in the series seems to step up each time in some way, and I'm glad we're getting these games translated (slowly!)

Anyway, I just love the charm of this series.

Has anyone seen the movie or want to see the movie, by the way?

I wonder if they've carried over Lukes voice from Pandora's box or got another new one? Even better if the old one came back.

Kyle, I have not heard anything about any movie until now, but it sounds awesome. Definitely a franchise that could lend itself well to a movie, bringing all the charm, music and curiosity without the mental strain.

An animation film, called Professor Layton and the Eternal Diva, is going to be produced by Masakazu Kubo, who is mainly known for producing the Pokémon films. It will be an original story, separate from the game series.[2] It takes place after the events of The Specter's Flute.[3]

On March 2, 2009, Level-5 opened the official Professor Layton and the Eternal Diva website. It contains four commercials about Layton and Luke, in the form of puzzles. Manga Entertainment plans to release the film on DVD and Blu-ray in the United Kingdom in September 2010.[4]
