Might & Magic heading to Nintendo DS

DS News | Now with manga artwork and puzzles.
Ubisoft has announced a new entry in the long running Might & Magic series exclusively for the Nintendo DS. Developed by Capybara games, Might & Magic Clash of Heroes will be a puzzle-based RPG that will feature exploration and turn-based puzzle battles. The game will have 5 quests taking place in the world of Ashan, players will manage their own hero, customize their army and lead campaigns in the mythic Might & Magic world. Unlike other Might & Magic games it will feature manga-style art design. The game will also feature a two-player versus mode.

“Our fans have always appreciated the depth and richness of the Might & Magic universe,” said Romain de Waubert de Genlis, senior producer at Ubisoft. “The teams at Ubisoft and Capybara were inspired to extend that universe in a unique way onto DS, creating an engaging new game experience.”

Might & Magic Clash of Heroes is set for a worldwide release in August 2009.
