New Might & Magic title heading to Nintendo DS?

DS Rumour | Financial report points to new title arriving within months.

The latest Ubisoft financial reports point to the possibility of another Might & Magic game appearing in stores in the coming months, this time bypassing the major platforms and heading to the portable Nintendo DS.

The listing in the report suggests that the next chapter of the long-running series will be titled Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes, and it is currently slated for release in the third quarter of 2009.

Currently, there is no official word on the title's existence, let alone what the game is all about. We'll keep you posted as the story develops.

Here's hoping it follows the awesome structure of the Might and Magic series and not any of the crap spin offs (except Heroes, that is also awesome and would be sweet on DS too).

Hmm, if it is going to DS, then there may be a chance of it being a proper rpg given recent rpg trends.

That said, I'm dubious that it will be.

It's been a while since I've played a M&M RPG. 7 years since they released IX, hopefully they've not forgotten how =)
