Nintendo releases list of DS Western developers

DS News | Licences and franchises dominate latest DS developer list.
Having already issued a list of Japanese developers working on Nintendo DS software last week, Nintendo today revealed a list of Western developers working on DS titles. A number of big players feature - EA, Ubisoft, Atari and THQ are listed - but sadly a reluctance to reveal precisely what they're working on means PALGN has been forced to speculate. So for example, by '+ additional titles', could Ubisoft mean a DS Prince of Persia or Splinter Cell? Or both? Tantalisingly, Ubi also have 'a movie licence for early 2005' in the works. Hmm.

Meanwhile, EA's list reveals little new, apart from the intriguing news that the company will be bringing a GoldenEye title to the handheld (we'd bet our entire gin collection it'll be a port of the Playstation 2's forthcoming GoldenEye: Agent of Evil), and the news of a Tiger Woods title on the DS is also fresh to our ears.

The list is below, though please note that we've removed any titles that appeared in the Japanese list that we posted last week, so fear not: Konami haven't jacked in the DS version of Winning Eleven just yet.
