E3 2008: Nintendo reveal Rhythm Heaven

DS News | Sounding a little like Elite Beat Agents.
Nintendo have sent out a press releases announcing that they’re hard at work on a new rhythm game for the Nintendo DS called Rhythm Heaven.

The game is apparently played while holding the Nintendo DS system sideways like a book, and will have players tap, slide and flick the stylus to keep in time with the music. Nintendo also revealed that the ‘well-known’ Japanese music producer TSUNKU is responsible for the soundtrack and helping direct the title.

Hooray! An english version of the upcoming Rhthm Tengoku Gold DS! The real problem is whether I can stomach the wait for the english release or just import the japanese version...

Rhythm Tengoku is such a great game; this is so far the best news of E3 for me. Can't wait to all-perfect this one, the last one was a bitch to complete, may not have even totally done it... I definitely suggest people seek this out.

^Yes, I really want an Elite Beat Agents 2. I've played the first game for dozens of hours, and continue to do so just for the tapping action.
