New DS colours announced

DS News | New Pokemon games also on the way.
Nintendo Australia has sent word over that the Nintendo DS lite will be available in two new colours from June the 19th. Combinations of blue / black and red / black will join the DS console's range of colours, which already includes white, black, pink and ice blue. In further news, it was announced that the Nintendo DS has sold more then 1.1 million units in Australia since its launch back in June 2006. For a peek at the new colours, check out the image in the media panel below.

Two new Pokemon games are also on the way – Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time and Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Darkness, both exclusively in the Nintendo DS. After matching players to a Pokemon that best represents their personality, the game proceeds to a world populated solely by Pokemon. Travelling through random but unique dungeons, players must unravel why they have been turned into a Pokemon and stop another Pokemon from stopping time and turning the world into darkness. More then 490 Pokemon will appear over both games.

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time and Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Darkness will also be available from June the 19th.

It's still the standard black console on the inside and bottom, just a new lid. Europe gets Real Red & Blue and a Lime, we're such a backwater!

Wow they are really boring and ugly looking. Hopefully we get some more good color options soon.
