The sequel is in development at Jupiter Corp. who worked on the first Spectrobes title. The title will bring back Rallen and Jeena again, and the subtitle of the game refers to portals which are gateways to distant "dimensions".
Apparantly there will be a new "three-dimensional perspective" as well as new battle features, new creatures and an online battle mode via the Nintendo Wi-Fi connection. "This second game is part of our plan to expand the series in the coming years," says Craig Relyea, senior VP of global marketing, Disney Interactive Studios.
