Zelda themed 3DS bundle announced

Not happy with the current Nintendo 3DS colour offerings and after something a little fancier? Then maybe this is for you. Today, Nintendo of Europe announces a special Nintendo 3DS bundle to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of The Legend of Zelda.

Contained within the bundle is a pretty swish looking 3DS unit, coloured black with gold decals stylised to represent both the ocarina and harp from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, and the icon Triforce and Hyrule symbols. Topping off the bundle is a copy of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3DS, Nintendo's 3D remake of the classic Nintendo 64 game, which we gave a favourable review.

There are, however, two unfortunate notes to make. Firstly, this bundle has only been announced for Europe so far, and secondly, the bundle is a limited edition. Aussies might have a bit of difficulty getting a hold of units, but on the plus side, Europe is a PAL region, guarantying compatibility with local games for those intending to import.

The Legend of Zelda 3DS bundle will be available in Europe on 25 November 2011.

Yes, they should've, so you could be an ambassador on it.

Less marketing and development spent on 3DS skins, Nintendo, more money spent on actual bloody games.

Man that's gorgeous. I want it but don't know if there's any point having both a US and PAL 3DS right now.

That is rather awesome... although I just can't justify investing in the 3DS, with all this talk about adding buttons and crap. I can see a dsi like 3ds in the near future.
