Tekken 3D: Prime Edition announced

3DS News | Would you like some movie with your game, sir?
3DS owners pining for some content for their newly reduced portable system may be pleased as punch to hear of Namco Bandai's latest announcement, Tekken 3D: Prime Edition.

The press release clarifies that rather than a special edition of the previously-announced fighting title, Prime Edition is the full name of the 3DS game, although the biggest news is why it has earned this auspicious title. On the same cartridge as the game, the full-length CGI film Tekken: Blood Vengeance will be included, which is also presented in 3D.

On top of receiving a copy of the movie that gamers can play in 3D wherever they go, the game will include more than 40 characters and a mix of old and new stages from the Tekken universe.

The bad news is that there's no announced release date for the game yet, but it's nice to know that developers are bringing more to the 3DS, someday.

Pretty impressive for a 3DS cart to have a full-fledge game and a movie in 3D.
