3DS News | Sweet dreams.
Despite being nearly thirteen years old, Nintendo's The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time still manages to cause a stir. The remake of said title, known as Ocarina of Time 3DS, is bound to be on the wish lists of many Nintendo fans, each and every one eager to put the time travelling elf through the grand adventure all over again on the 3DS.

To make this adventure even bigger, EB Games has revealed an exclusive pre-order package. Called The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina Edition 3DS, the package includes:

  • Tri Force Branded Ocarina.
  • Two song sheets with instructions on how to play Zelda’s Lullaby.
  • The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3DS.

Priced at AU$68.00, this offer is exclusive to EB Games, and an image of the package can be seen below.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3DS is scheduled to launch in Australia on 30 June 2011.

Its a must buy for me too.

For the extra price EB wants, I reckon I could make the difference up with some Ocarina busking.

Set up outside EB in the city = Profit!

Considering the ocarina alone costs $40 on Thinkgeek, I think that's a pretty sweet deal. I'm planning to import 3DS though, I wonder if Gamestop will have it? D: I don't think I'll be able to find anyone who wants to split the costs icon_razz.gif

Also sold. Though I imported my DS, so I'll sell the game. But I have a tri-force branded 4-hole ocarina and love it, so I'd love a 12 hole one... sadly this means heaps of others will probably have an ocarina now, I'll feel less special >.<

Jedi, just remember the 3DS is region locked, so if your going to import - do it in the Australian (or whatever region your planning on getting your games from)

Um, that's why I said I'm planning to import and wondered if Gamestop would have it...

I'm tempted to buy it even though I don't intend to get a 3DS.

I doubt it's worth anywhere near $40... the Thinkgeek version is made from earthenware and is probably much better quality.

The one Nintendo are giving away is almost certainly made of plastic.

OK guys I'll take one of them, no wukkas.

Doesnt hurt that I get back from Thailand at 7am on the 30th of June, not at all. Wow. Gonna dance on over to EB now and pay. Take my money.

I would love this, so I'll have to re-buy 3ds when this game is released, because I had to unfortunately sell mine for 200.

that ocarina's worth about $25, but it IS made by stlocarina.com and their stuff is pretty damn good (unlike the toy ocarina i was given as a present earlier this year... it sounds terrible)

damn it, i wasn't even gonna THINK about buying a 3DS.. now i've already planned to buy a game for it..

I thought the Ocarina is an Australian exclusive (http://www.kotaku.com.au/2011/05/ocarina-of-time-comes-with-an-actual-ocarina-in-australia/)

That particular one might be. There was one available with preorders in Greece too. Possibly more countries to come.

Yeah, only just realised it's the $28 plastic one. Still, pretty sweet deal IMO, plus no worries about shipping. I've put my preorder down, will cancel it if Gamestop in the US announces something awesome, but they haven't much time left!
