Konami announces Doctor Lautrec and the Forgotten Knights for the 3DS

3DS News | It's a bit of a puzzle...
Developer Konami have recently announced a new property that shall make its debut on the Nintendo 3DS. Titled Doctor Lautrec and the Forgotten Knights, it is set to be a puzzle game with some exploratory elements thrown into the mix, set within 19th century France. Lautrec and his assistant Sophie are travelling the region in order to find lost relics of King Louis XIV. Those looking to take a glimpse into the new world as realised by Konami can look at the trailer below, as well as a wealth of screenshots and concept art.

Jeeebs... you try and tell me you didn't think professor Layton as soon as you saw those images. Are Konami even trying?

Should be a law against this kind of thing.

Same sort of vein. It feels like some fan who likes the Layton games decided to try and inject RPG elements because it's the "it" thing to do for games nowadays.
