F1 2011 announced

3DS News | Vroom vroom!
It shouldn't really surprise anyone, but Codemasters has announced that the latest entry into the bestselling Formula 1 series will be released on September 22nd this year.

So far, F1 2011 will boast the numerous official teams, drivers and circuits from this year's F1 World Championship, including India's highly anticipated Jaypee International Race Circuit and the iconic Nürburgring track. The game will also feature improved multiplayer capabilities, on both the competitive and co-operative side of things.

Codemasters is also inviting players to enter a contest, offering them a chance to play the game ahead of its release and make an appearance in development diary videos. To enter, fans will be required to make a video of themselves asking a question about the game, which must then be uploaded to YouTube. Obviously, the most interesting video entrant, as judged by the development team, will be invited to the studio. For further details and conditions, you can check out the official Facebook page here.

The game will be released on the Sony PlayStation 3, Microsoft Xbox 360 and Windows PC, with Nintendo 3DS and Sony's next portable system versions of the game on the way.

Hopefully they improve the game and not just update the livery and driver names.

Wonder if they will leave Bahrain out?

Did they ever fix the bug in 2010 that saw career progress become corrupt ?

I gave up several times (last attempted it in December) and was fed up with having to start from race 1 (i got up to race 5 once)

Happened to me a few times on the 360 as well as pc icon_evil.gif.

I was impressed with the game none the less, just didn't play it often enough as a result of the issue. Good thing that i paid about 50% off the Australian RRP, as i imported the 360 version and purchased the pc version when there was a steam discount.
