Gaijin Games working on the 3DS

3DS News | Dub-step 3D.
Another notch has appeared on the Nintendo 3DS belt of developers, as Nintendojo confirm that independent developer Gaijin Games have got their hands on a 3DS development kit, and are knee deep in a 3DS project.

Gaijin Games are best known for their prominent support of Nintendo's WiiWare service with the Bit.Trip series of games, made popular for their psychedelic visuals, thumping chip-tune soundtracks, and mixed genre gameplay.

The developer refused to give more details on their 3DS title, but hinted that the game may defer from their downloadable title trend into a retail release, and that they are targeting the launch window for a release.

I enjoyed Bit. Trip. Runner. despite it being a bit too difficult. I'd like to see what they can do with the 3DS.

The game itself was far too frustrating for me, but the visuals and sound on that 3D screen could be absolutely amazing.
