The Nintendo 3DS rumours are getting hot and heavy. First we had a Japanese KeysFactory employee letting slip the device may launch in Japan on November 20 2010, then we had 3DS trademarks registered in Australia, and now we have a report that Paper Mario 3DS will be launching in Japan this year.
The rumour comes from a source citing popular Japanese daily newspaper The Asahi Shimbun. According to The Asahi Shimbun, Paper Mario 3DS intends to launch into Japanese markets by the end of this year, which would indicate that the Nintendo 3DS will indeed make a widely speculated 2010 release (at least, in Japan).
Paper Mario 3DS was revealed at E3 2010 earlier this year as part of Nintendo's software lineup for the Nintendo 3DS. Outside of a few screenshots we're yet to see any footage of the game, but it is quite possible that the game will be fully detailed at Nintendo's 3DS event later this month.
