More Advance Wars 2 details

GBA News | With just under a month until release, Nintendo Australia have provided us with a few more details on Advance Wars 2.
You thought you had seen the last of the Black Hole Army at the end of Advance Wars, but they're back. The Black Hole Army is now bigger, badder and stronger than ever. General Sturm has set up his new base of operations and has set his sights on Cosmo Land.

It is up to you to rally the armies of Cosmo Land and defend your home against the threat of these otherworldly invaders.

Advance Wars 2 allows you to:

- Encounter new Commanding Officers and feel the effects of their devastating CO Powers. Use all-new Super CO Powers like Typhoon and Airborne Assault to rain destruction upon your enemy.

- Master the command of new units like the massively powerful Neotank as you tackle new terrain features and devise original battle strategies.

- Use the customisable Map Editor to create the most complex and challenging battle maps ever, then trade them with a friend!

- Test your strategic skill against your friends with either Single - or Multi-Pak multiplayer modes.

Advance Wars 2: Black Hole Rising will be available in Australia on July 10th with a RRP of $69.95
