Mother 3 screens

GBA News | First look at the game over 7 years in the making.
Posted on Shigetso Itoi’s official website, the first screens of the highly anticipated Earthbound sequel – Mother 3 - have finally been released.

Straight away Earthbound/Mother fans will be able to see the similar graphical style has been used for the latest instalment, but these images were taking from “a nearly-completed version undergoing last-minute fine-tuning.” Whether or not this “fine-tuning” includes aesthetic treatment is unknown.

Mother 3 is due out in Japan on the 20th of April. There is no word of a Western release yet, although, many fans are hoping that will change.
