Golden Sun 2 release date for Australia

GBA News | And the lucky day is.... *DRUM ROLL*
Nintendo have announced that the release date is April 17th 2003! The full press release below!

AUSTRALIA, Melbourne, March 4th, 2003 - Golden Sun*, the epic adventure enjoyed by gamers Australia-wide and one of the Top Ten selling Game Boy Advance* games to date, now continues with the arrival of Golden Sun*: The Lost Age for the Game Boy Advance*. The epic adventure will continue on April 17th, 2003 when this eagerly awaited RPG sequel hits retail shelves nation wide.

Continue the adventure started in Golden Sun*, or start out fresh as a new player. Golden Sun*: The Lost Age presents the perfect starting point for players who have never experienced Golden Sun, and for players who have, it expands immensely on the adventures of the original game.

Players will return to Golden Sun's epic saga of magic, swordplay, and adventure as the quest to restore the power of Alchemy to the land continues. Explore new continents, new cultures, and new dungeons while travelling across the world of Weyard. Walk, fly; and even set sail across the seas of this massive world.

Transfer characters from Golden Sun* with all their items, abilities, and Djinn to unlock more secrets. Use up to eight characters in combat, doubling the party size and adding depth to an already complex and compelling battle and magic system.

Astounding graphics and impressive "summon" effects surpass anything seen before on a handheld game system. New magical abilities offer even more ways to battle and to solve challenging and elaborate puzzles. Link up with a friend using the Game Boy Advance* Game Link cable to pit parties against one another in a two-player duel!

The highly praised turn-based battle system from the original game returns many hours of gameplay and massive worlds to explore including caves, beaches, ice plains, deserts and tropical islands. Colourful, vibrant visuals make Golden Sun*: The Lost Age one of the best looking Game Boy Advance* games to date.

Great.

Probably the most overrated game around at the moment and we get a sequel that will sell god knows how many hundreds of thousands of copies to people who wouldn't know a good RPG if it jumped up and bit them.

Camelot should go back to Shining Force, Nintendo should drop RPGs forever and you people should play Phantasy Star Collection. Then the world will be a better place.

I'm getting it in a few days along with Shining Soul.

No more Earthbound? Are you crazy? RWM.

I agree it is overrated though but it is still good fun. Which after all is what it's all about.

Never played Earthbound, so no more Eathbound would therefore annoy me a hell of a lot less than another chapter in the ABYSMAL Golden Sun saga.
