Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII announced

GBA News | Final Fantasy VII Spin-off announced for the PSP.
Square-Enix has today announced the latest compilation in the Final Fantasy VII series titled Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII, making it the fourth compilation in the Final Fantasy VII series along with Final Fantasy VII:Advent Children, Before Crisis:Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy VII: Dirge of Cerberus.Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII will be an action RPG title in development for Sony’s PSP portable console, which is currently scheduled for an early 2006 release.

In typical Square-Enix fashion, almost nothing is known about Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII. However, we can confirm that the brain behind the magnificent Final Fantasy VII, Yoshinori Kitase, will oversee the title.

We expect more news on Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII to be revealed during the 2005 E3 Expo, stay tuned.
