New Yoshi game announced

GBA News | Yoshi makes his first solo debut to the GBA. First screenshots revealed.
Today Nintendo of Japan has confirmed the rumours surrounding the mysterious Yoshi title and has also generously released several dozen screenshots of the game in action.

The next Yoshi game to hit the Game Boy Advance will be called Yoshi's Universal Gravitation. There’s currently no details regarding the game’s gameplay nor it’s scheduled release date, however, from the screenshots, it seems that Yoshi will have the ability to transform into several forms (boat and helicopter for example – similar to Yoshi’s Island).

PALGN will have more on Yoshi's Universal Gravitation as soon as it becomes available. In the meantime, be sure to check out the screenshots via our media panel.

Would've prefered the Yoshi Island type graphics but I suppose if it has the same gameplay it won't matter.

Yoshi Island was my first ever game and one of the best and when Story came out it was a huge dissapointment.

was yoshi's island super mario world 2 on SNES?

there was a level where a bullet was eating all the ground behind you as you went i think...

also used the SuperFX chip to have out of plane enemies...

if so it was a cool game icon_smile.gif
if not, then i dunno what i'm thinking of...

Yes it was Super Mario World 2.

It wasn't a bullet that ate the ground behind, more so a Pac-Man creature, I'm not sure of its name though.
