Designed by Nintendo's Shigeru Miyamoto, Pac-Man Vs. allows one play with a Game Boy Advance (connected to the Gamecube) to play as Pac-Man, while three other players with control pads play as the ghosts. If/When a ghost catches Pac-Man, the successful ghost gets to play as the hungry yellow guy on the Game Boy Advance, and the game continues until a predetermined scoring cap is hit.
"We are very excited to have a new addition to the Pac-Man family," said Kevin Yanagihara, Director of Namco Ltd. "By incorporating this classic character with the unique connectivity features of both the Game Boy Advance and GameCube, players are offered a new style of gameplay that will bring them closer to the competition than ever before."
It is currently unknown whether Pac-Man Vs. will ship in its standalone form as well (as part of the Player's Choice version of Pac-Man World 2).
Pac-Man Vs. will be available on March 22nd when R: Racing Victory releases.
