Seasons in the game coincide with those in the Northern Hemisphere, meaning Aussie Animal Crossing owners will be experiencing snow filled Summers and hot Winters.
The in-game Calendar hasn't been changed either - the US Date format is still intact, meaning many Aussie kids will be wondering what the 29th Month of the year is. We're also stuck with US Holidays, meaning July 4th will be full of fireworks for no reason we give a damn about.
There is no 60Hz mode - At the very least, they could have left this option in, but now we'll be playing our copies 17% slower, folks!
So... What did Nintendo Australia do right?... Well, to put it quite plainly, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! We have the American version, 13 months late with no localisation, and no exclusive Memory Card stickers or NES Games preloaded.
Is it still worth buying? Well, if you can overlook these glaring faults, then sure! On the other hand, you could always boycott the game until Aussie Gamers get the respect they deserve... It's your choice.
