Mario Kart: Double Dash!! certainly caused some ruckus at E3. Initially, screens and videos of the game showcased a radical new direction for the series, where the player controls TWO drivers in a tag-team style Kart. When journalists got their mitts on the game though, a sluggish game pace was revealed to unanimous disappointment.
The build to be shown on a modified coach outside Earl's Court on 27-29th of August is updated from that shown at E3 and the Nintendo Gamer's summit so anyone in the London area can find out for themselves what's improved and what's not.
Mario Kart won't be the only game on show though, oh no. On Nintendo's "newly liveried 40 tonne articulated truck", whatever that means, will be the following games for GameCube and Game Boy Advance:
GameCube:
1080 Avalanche
F-Zero GX
Pikmin 2
The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords
Pacman
Pokémon Box
Soul Calibur II
Game Boy Advance:
Advance Wars 2: Black Hole Rising
Final Fantasy Tactics Advance
Mario & Luigi
Pokémon Pinball Ruby & Sapphire
Super Mario Bros.3: Super Mario Advance 4
and a whole host of 3rd party titles.
The Nintendo truck will be outside the entrance to ECTS on Brompton Road from Wednesday 27th to Friday 29th August, open from 9am until 7pm Wednesday & Thursday and 9am until 4pm Friday.
