Get your name in Twin Snakes

GCN News | They did it for Sons of Liberty, they did it for Substance, and now Konami once again gives you the chance to get your personal information in the wildly popular game.
On the recently launched Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes site, Konami has put up a new dogtag campaign for the GameCube exclusive, allowing you to submit your name and a little personal data to enter the competition where a few selected will be lucky enough to "be in the game". The last dogtag campaigns thrown for the Metal Gear Solid games really hit it off with gamers, and there's no reason why this one won't be just as popular.

If you've signed up for any of these campaigns before it's pretty much the same deal, except if you actually won before. Then you're not eligible for for the competition. (And you were thinking of running again, you greedy bastard!)

Well, no time to waste, submit before it's too late:

Don't worry, you got until noon on 12 July to sign up and the winners will be notified by the end of that month by e-mail, so make sure you type in your real mail adress. (I'm sure they won't abuse it)

Haarball adds: In related news, the official Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater site is up, on which you'll find a direct-feed version of the trailer that was shown on E3, as well as a selection of screens accompanied by intriguing catch-phrases that hints to what the new game will revolve around. It's just a mini-site with little content at the moment, but it's worth stopping by if you haven't already downloaded the direct-feed trailer.

They did the exact type of thing for the game 'A link to the Past' for the Super Nintendo. That one lucky winner would get his own little private cave or something and his/her name in the credits. I'm pretty damn sure it was shown in the Snes version of the game but I didn't see it on the GBA version.

Pretty cool idea though.
