Shiggy (who, as every gamer worth their salt knows, created the Mario and Zelda franchises) and Ancel received the rank of Knight in the National Order of the Legion of Honour, an award that was originally created by Napoleon I in 1802 and that remains one of the highest honours of it's kind in France.
