Key Dates for Nintendo Titles: Australia

GCN News | Too good to be true?
In a seemingly unprecedented move, the Australian Nintendo website has actually been updated with some fairly concrete release dates:

GameCube

Geist - November 3rd
Mario Superstar Baseball - November 3rd
Dancing Stage Mario Mix - November 24th
Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance - December 1st

GBA

NES Classics: Castlevania - November 24th
NES Classics: Zelda II The Adventure of Link - November 24th

Now assuming that these dates are correct and the games will arrive at that time, the only problem now, is where can we go to buy them?

3 crap Cube games and one I don't know much about (Fire Emblem).

Geist is supposed to be good! So is baseball. Dancing I'll give you.

Strange they're bothering with castlevania. Oh well, I'll buy it! I was about to import, but whenever possible I get the local version of anything.

Of course a lot of games are 'supposed' to be good, it's a shame they don't always turn out that way. icon_wink.gif

Out of the four, Fire Emblem should be the standout. It's a Strategy/RPG game in the vein of Advance wars. The other three can piss off (except for Dancing Stage and its wonderful Mario techno remixes).

I heard geist was 'supposed' to be good too, usually we can decide for ourselves anyway, we're the ones who ultimately knows what we like to play, I mean you could hype a barbie game as much as you want, I still aint gonna buy one.

Nintendo are so bloody annoying when it comes to announcing release dates, they practically spring it on you the day before its out.

Now all we need is a Twilight Princess release date.

Personally I want DDR:Mario Mix over the other three because it's something completely new, well for me anyway.

Classic NES Zelda II!

That's the only game there that does anything for me - me want!

Nothing amazing, interesting nor worth buying.

Fire Emblem is looking mighty tasty.

David, where'd you get the idea Baseball and Geist were good? I've read reviews that suggest otherwise. (unless you literally meant 'good', as opposed to 'great' or 'excellent')

Fire Emblem looks great, but it's obvious losing Zelda really hurt their christmas list. Although that said, there's probably more titles yet to be dated - shouldn't Battalion Wars make it out this year?

Fire Emblem will be my pick out of those.

I'll also be getting Mario Kart DS though which should be pretty good.
