Mario Kart character list released! Suposedly...

GCN News | Wandering the net, I have stumbled across a list of Mario Kart Characters.

The guys over at GameCube Café have reported that Nintendo Japan have released a list of all the characters in Mario Kart for GCN, and here it is as follows;

It seems it abit unlikely that they'd have more than the usual 8-10
and some of them are like really unknown, to me at least
like who the hell are all those different koopas

I these ar April Fool they were posted a few days early around alot of gaming sites. Then again Zemaj got in early for his AFD joke. We looked quite the fool......an April fool as it were.

Mario Kart games have always had 8 characters. No more, no less. Diddy Kong Racing broke that trend with the addition of 2 secret characters and I hope that Nintendo break their trend of 8 characters and 3 classes (all rounders, fast acceleration/lower top speed, and fast top speed/crappy acceleration). Miyamoto also likes to joke about Sonic in Mario Kart a lot...

Sonic was rumoured not confirmed. Shiggy just said in an interview once that he would like to see Sonic in Mario Kart.

I don't think you'll see Sonic in games such as mario kart or super smash bros; merely for the fact that he isn't Nintendo...

woah all the koopas? i love koopas.. or they were funny bosses in the "super mario" for super nintendo, now if theres all the koopa family guys, i gotta play the game
