E3 2005: DDR Mario Mix Info + 8 screens

GCN News | Break it down with Mario.
DDR Mario Mix is one of the upcoming GameCube titles that Nintendo showed of this morning. Some brief footage was shown. Mario Mix is the first Dance Dance Revolution title to grace a Nintendo home console. It appears that in addition to the regular game mode, there will also be some kind of adventure/story tie-in, as you can see in some of the screens below (the ones with dialogue). Wario and Waluigi seem to have stolen the music keys and plan to "bring a rain of chaos upon the world."

Also, the trailer contained some new things. First, Mario Mix will have three difficulties Easy, Normal, and Hard. Also in the trailer is the first footage of some minigames which will be in Mario Mix, including whack-a-mole, which you'll be able to play with your feet using the dance pad, of course.

We also have 8 screens for curious PALGN'ers.
