E3 2005: Mario Party 7 Announced

GCN News | Latest Mario Party title to support up to Eight players. First images revealed.
Nintendo announced, during their conference today, that they'll be releasing the seventh instalment in the Mario Party franchise, due later this year.

Mario Party 7 will support up to eight players to play at once at any given time, while still only using four controllers. Gamers will be able to share their controllers between one another and still partake in the 80 new mini-games announced.

In addition to these new mini-games, Nintendo has confirmed that there'll be a variety of new mini-games that will utilise the Nintendo Gamecube's Microphone.
