Europe Release Set for Killer 7

GCN News | It won't be long now before everyone can play as their favourite wheelchair-bound assassin.
Capcom have announced that their highly desired, and even longer awaited, Killer 7 will be shipping on July 15, for both PlayStation 2 and Gamecube. Even more amazing is that this is only one month after its US and Japan ship dates, June 7 and 9 respectively.

While the date for Europe applies to the "PAL Territory", an Australian release date is still up in the air at the moment, but it's safe to assume that we should be getting this at roughly the same time, if not, within a week or two at the latest.

Though initially part of the now infamous “Capcom 5”, the game will be seeing a simultaneous release on both the PlayStation 2 and Gamecube, unlike the delayed launches between platforms seen with previous Capcom games such as Resident Evil 4 and Viewtiful Joe.

Having been in development for around three years, little is still known about how this game plays, but its surreally sadistic and violent style alone makes this game undeniably enticing. Whether or not it will simply be a case of style-over-substance is yet to be seen, but Killer 7 is definitely one game to keep an eye on.

Not sure what to think of this game yet, looks good, but I'm a bit put off by the long long development time.

The NTSC case is a lot better. I think so anyway.
I haven't read anything on this game, nor have I watched any trailers. I'm hoping to be nicely surprised upon my purchase later in the year... icon_smile.gif
