Metroid Bundle coming to Australia

GCN News | Nintendo confirm that the bundle will make it to Australia.
Nintendo Australia is pleased to confirm that on April 3, 2003, Australian consumers will have the chance to purchase the limited edition Metroid® Prime Pak. This exciting Pak will contain:

· Nintendo GameCube (Jet)
· Nintendo GameCube Hand Controller (Jet)
· Copy of Metroid® Prime
· Limited Edition Metroid® Prime Name Plate

This Pak will be available for a limited time only and will be backed by a strong TVC, print and in-store campaign, Metroid® Prime will further demonstrate Nintendo's commitment to delivering the best games for the only pure gaming machine in the market today.

Metroid® Prime features one of the most immersive and atmospheric experiences ever created. It contains the eerie solitude and claustrophobic exploration that the original Metroid games demonstrated in the 80's.

A staggering 250,000 copies of Metroid® Prime were sold within one week of its release in the US and as the critical acclaim of this game grows, Australian gamers are gearing up for the arrival of the most eagerly awaited title on any platform in 2003.

Good for Pro-GCN wooing power.

Hopefully this will shift some units, even though it won't affect me at all... icon_wink.gif
