Metal Gear Solid for GameCube CONFIRMED!

GCN News | Yesterday's rumour has now been confirmed!
Thanks to the guys over at Cube-Europe, we can now confirm that Metal Gear Solid, is definatly in development for the GCN. CE rang up NOE, and a spokes person said "I can confirm that Nintendo is working with Konami on Metal Gear Solid for the GameCube." It's not everyday that we get a clean confirmation from Nintendo themselves, so lets feel privileged.

Also, Nintendo and Konami are working together on this title, which points in the direction of exclusivity and maybe even a GCN-GBA connection.

Watch PALGN for more on this.

Miyamoto had confirmed to us what he had said before and what Konami had said earlier that a Metal Gear game was in fact being developed for the GameCube. He also clarified that as of yet, there are no plans for GBA connectivity as some have misunderstood his earlier comments.
So looks like there's currently no GBA connectivity planned.

Someone needs to be beaten over the head with a cricket bat, and sent to a de-Sony-brainwashing clinic.
