It pains us to inform our readers with some disappointing new details for the final version of Viewtiful Joe 2 – depending on which way you look at it of course. The once announced, and much-anticipated, co-operative mode has been scrapped from the final version of Viewtiful Joe 2. Instead, the game will contain a new feature called ‘Viewtiful Touch’, which will allow players to swap between Joe or Sylvia instantly at any moment during the game.
Also, PALGN has a new trailer for Viewtiful Joe 2. The trailer features new footage and new abilities of both of the player characters – an absolute must watch for all Viewtiful fans.

Despite the game being released in America and Japan in less than a month, Viewtiful Joe 2 will not see the light of day in PAL regions until May 31st 2005. Sigh.
