E3 2004: First Legend of Zelda Screens revealed at Nintendo's Pre-E3 Conference

GCN News | Nintendo show first footage of the next Zelda game to the series. Trailer and Pictures included.
Many gamers may remember when Nintendo unveiled its Space World 2000 demo of Legend of Zelda, one of the most realistic takes on the franchise to date. However, that realistic hope slowly faded away as gamers were presented to one of the most upsetting appearance of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker at the next E3 expo. Gamers over the years knew Nintendo wouldn’t blind side them and had strong faith that Nintendo would release a Zelda like that some day, and as it turns out, Nintendo felt the same way.

Today at Nintendo Pre-E3 conference, Nintendo released one of the most ground braking announcements ever. Nintendo revealed to the media that they never stopped production after the Space World Demo, and that the game has been heavy in production since 2000, however the game has taken a huge change from the footage we witnessed at Space World 2000.

As the Press conference almost came to an end, the lights began to dim as Nintendo were ready to showcase one of the titles installed for the event. The media were shown to one of the most beautiful openings showing off some of the best graphics to date, however, when the classic Legend of Zelda theme began to play in the background the media jumped up and roared and cried as all there dreams were fulfilled. The media began to scream as they witnessed Shigeru Miyamoto, creator of the franchise, entered the stage with a sword and shield in hand.

However, the footage shown only teases a title of The Legend of Zelda and not including the The Wind Waker 2 beside it, so it’s hard to say, but this might be a completely different Zelda game that’ll be released along with the The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker 2, or maybe The Wind Waker 2 is non-existent.

The full footage shown at the conference can be seen at the following link Here

Stay tune as more footage, and details, of this game will be revealed to PALGN.
