While still a rumour at the moment, weblog Destructoid has managed to get hold of two more images (follow the link for the watermarked screens), as well as some info by way of Brazillian blog Blogeek.
From the info there, they have determined that the game will not look like the stylised teaser trailer released earlier this year (as the screens confirm). It will apparently run at 60 frames per second and feature online play, the latter implying a console release rather then appearing in the arcade first like all Street Fighter games before it. The game will not take place after the Street Fighter III series, but will instead be more of a direct follow-up to Street Fighter II. As a result, there will be many old-school characters returning, but it's unlikely any Street Fighter III characters will appear. And craziest of all, joke character Shen Long may appear.
Probably most worrying is the claim that the parry system from Street Fighter III has been completely removed, and has been replaced by a gauge based cancel system called 'Saving' or 'Revenge'. Supers will return, along with new 'ultra' moves, which appear to be Killer Instinct-like canned combos.
There is still no word on who precisely is developing the game, other than the production being funded by Capcom USA and in development by 'a Japanese team'.
