PALGN gets... errr... reviewed

PALGN News | Yay! PALGN has the... dubious honour of being listed in the ICON section of the Sydney Morning Herald.

Check the latest images for a scan of the listing. It said:

A fan site dedicated to the PAL TV format? You might think that this idea was born out of smoking one too many vacuum tubes, but its dedication to console gaming in PAL markets is admirable.

Hmmm… I don’t think I was smoking any vacuum tubes at the time, but if I had, would I remember anyway?

Well at least the nearly 4000 unique visitors to PALGN since we started just under a 2 weeks ago, understand the significance of gaming in PAL areas. I think we can safely assume from the article that the author of that listing is not a PAL gamer

Yeah, there was a slight incrase in visitors, but the last stats updated 4pm on the 15th Aussie time, so once todays come up they'll show more. The stats for half a day on the 15th were nearly as big as the 14th and weekends are normally quite slow anyway.

I've known about the PALGN for awhile, thanks to the sheer number of people here from the IGN PALCB, so I instantly picked up on it when I was reading Icon.

It was that article that made me start coming back here, and posting for the first time.

Most use their IGN names but there are a few odd ones who don't.

I recognised most of you (ie Jonas), but Duddley was kind of random :S

Anywho, this place is pretty good. It's stealing even more of my time, with the PALCB and the PALGN forums, I'm stuffed as far as work goes
