The nine categories include Best Game, Best New Startup (Adam Lancman Award), Best Console Title, Best PC title, Best Handheld Title, Best Mobile Title, Best Game Play, Best Graphics and Best Audio. The GDAA hasn't announced which titles are nominated in each category, but some of the games nominated to win awards include Ricky Ponting 2007 Pressure Play, Jackass The Game, Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords, Fury, Heatseeker, Looney Tunes Acme Arsenal and Viva Piñata: Party Animals.
