Pirates vs. Ninjas Dodgeball announced

Here's a question; have you ever wondered who would win in a dodgeball game between Pirates and Ninjas? Well, if so then Blazing Lizard has announced a title that's sure to have you excited.

Pirates vs. Ninjas Dodgeball is Blazing Lizard's first console downloadable title. The game allows up to eight players to choose from five unique teams (Pirates, Ninjas and three more teams to be revealed) and play in a game of, you guessed it, dodgeball. Teams in the game aren’t restricted to one side of the court, instead they roam freely around the arena during a game. Characters will also be equipped with combat moves and special abilities. The game will include several modes including exhibition, challenge, story and multiplayer. The game will be available to download on a yet to be announced home console in 2008.

We'll leave the last word to Chris Stockman the Studio Director of Blazing Lizard. “What more needs to be said when it comes to Pirates vs. Ninjas. This is the ultimate in rivalries, and we aim to have them settle it with all out balls to the wall action.”

Hehe, I saw this a couple of hours ago, could be good fun for Wii, though I doubt it is by the looks of it. Oh, and you have to have robots too.

When i first found out about Ninjas vs. Pirates, i laughed, because ninjas are so much better. Pirates are cool (look at One Piece and PotC for example) but they are also a grotty bunch of rabble too. Anyways, found out after asking a few ppl that girls seemed to pick Pirates more often because of what is known as the 'Johnny Depp influence'.

I conducted a survey of over 500 people, and the results were that ninjas dominated, as thought. It was a 2/3 popularity.

As for the other teams in the game. Could be vikings, robots, cyborgs, samurai, aliens perhaps.
And on that note, Cyborg Ninjas are the best out of anything. Just go play Metal Gear Solid. Gray Fox dominates.

See, that sentence proves you're completely unqualified to comment on Pirates. Pirates are not the dolled up girly-men from PotC, nor are they the loud children from One Piece. They're vicious, ruthless bastards, with jagged swords that'll likely give you a disease if you get cut with one, and bullets that'll shatter your bones rather than go through you. Their whole lives are devoted to not being killed by eachother. Pirates > Ninjas.

yeh i know but they were examples. And so be it that u would prefer being on a pirate ship way out at sea with a bunch of other scraggly men with nothing to do.. no women and the like............

and Jibbs, thats exactly why i hate some pirate supporters because they think that they could take a ninja.
A) So what if they have a gun (a pistol that fires one shot is apparently deadly to a ninja)
B) Ninjas could dodge that bullet
Ninjas are just better

and anyone that then argues about pirates that have cannons (not female pirates with large assets (which isnt possible anyway), i mean the arsenal) then please consider its maneouvrability first.

Though pirates are okay, Ninjas are better.

I'm putting my money on zombies, robots and..hmm...I'm gonna take a wild guess and say army men, only because I can't think of anything else.

And for the record, I'm with the pirates. Anyone who ties a man up by his balls until he gives them all his money after murdering an army in their sleep has to win anything.
