E3 2007: PALGN Podcast 1

PALGN Feature | Under slept, over caffeinated.

It's been a while since PALGN published it's first official podcast late last year. Since then we've made numerous attempts to bring you a second podcast, however technical and logistic problems have always made it impossible.

We are determined to bring you an edition relating to E3, however it seems the podcast Gods are still angry. After several false starts we did manage to get the whole way though, albeit with a few garbled sections and volume inconsistency (not to mention my exhausted brain struggling to keep track of the conversation). However it is reasonably audible, so we decided to put it out there in any case. Podcast Gods be damned.

It's just under an hour long. We'll make another attempt once the expo is over and hopefully bring in Chris for some first-hand impressions. In the meantime, delete your pirated song, empty your recycle bin, or do whatever it is that makes the podcast Gods happy. Please.

Great podcast - the 50 minutes went very quickly. The coverage was really good especially on the accessories and console speeches. The included humor was quite good too. Ill most certainly tune in next time.

Good podcast, though there were bits were there was lag and an echo you could hear, what software are you guys using to record it?

I used Skype podcaster recorder. We started using Pamela, but it kept on crashing every 5 mins - that's a real pain, since the quality it produced was much, much better. I'll see if I can find something else.

It seems the podcast God does not like me. 11KB/sec, that's a bit slow.

good podcast, but I think shorter and more regular podcasts split up between Nintendo, sony and microsoft.

That's strange - PALGN has a great connection across all major networks. I normally get up to 1MB/s.

^ When I downloaded it, it finished in about 10 seconds and I'm only on a standard Optus cable plan.

Maybe your capped ZNMS?

Downloaded it via Itunes, that way if my computer resetes I dont need to download it right from the start.

It was an ok show guys and the intro hurt my ears.
